Can I express an interest in the bonnet, please.
I need to measure and see if one fits in either 'normal' car.
Where in Mid Wales are you?

4-wheel-drive 914
My first ever attempt at 1/10th scale. I've had the various bits hanging around for a while - OK, a long while - the body shell delivery box had a postage date of 25/05/2007. I shortened the chassis to suit over a few evenings this winter and cut the shell months ago, but mislaid the can of red pain...

Hi Carl My 'heavy' door is the wrong way round for me from a balance perspective - my driver's side, so your passenger side if that makes sense! Cheers Ah - same side as mine  ...which puts my heavy door on the correct side for balance 8) If only it wieghed another fifteen stones or-so, I cou...

Andrew I have one early door and one later door on mine (due to what I could get at the time) - the difference is huge! Easy conversion early to late or vice versa - I intend to have my door reskinned in aluminium next winter and cut out the armco that is side protection! Cheers Wayne Hi Wayne, I h...

I have the full MSD setup - dizzy, controller, coil - on my 914, and I'm a huge fan. Fitting was very easy - the article linked above works fine, and the MSD instructions include a guide to choosing springs for the advance curve (can't remember exactly - think it might be 2 light silver springs). I ...

When I needed to choose a mobile phone / pda thingy for work, I had a choice of two HP models: 614 or 914... It was a huge disappointment to me when it arrived that it doesn't have it's model number displayed anywhere on it  http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/media/tracyandmatts_blog/windowsl...

I have mine very soon too....I'm thinking we all got tested at the wrong time. I might re-do mine in octoberish so I have 12 months covering all 2010 summer.. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/style_emoticons/default/idea.gif I tried that approach, but it took me so much longer to motivate myself to fix...

A 914 with a fresh MOT is a beautiful thing!
I hate the stress of MOT time - I'd worried myself into anticipating a fail on some item or other that I couldn't see for myself - but no! A clean bill of health - no advisories, and a couple of gratifying comments about how nice I kept it, the excellent condition of the suspension and the 'unusuall...
