Re: Fuel pump advice

Thanks for the reply, I have seen this particular thread however it doesn’t really make anything clearer around flow rate and with it being an older thread links to different websites are no longer working.

Fuel pump advice

Hi, I know this has been covered many times before as I have read through past topics however it seems there are so many options that people are using. I have a 69 911s on Webber 40ida and my current pump is a cube style solid state pump located under the tank. I have had the car 20 years or so and ...

Recommendations for anodising wheels and parts

Hi, looking for recommendations for an anodising service in the midlands. I would like to
deal directly with an anodiser. If there is anyone who has been used to refinish fuch wheels and various parts I would greatly appreciate contact details who comes recommended.

Best regards

Bazz

Re: swab Front wings

I would possibly be interested in a pair of lwb front wings - I have a 1969 car - possibily a better discount for more pairs even if its not all the same swb wings.

Re: Running issue help spark plug gap spec -NGKBR7EIX - 1969

Hi Mycar Any recommendations for sources of rebuild kits for webers? I have found a full premium rebuild kit on eurocarb for around £80 which seems to have everything I should need. I have pulled out the idle jets and cleaned them I also cleaned the gausing out in the inlet pipes comin into the carb...

Re: Running issue help spark plug gap spec -NGKBR7EIX - 1969

Maybe thats the next one to look at. With the spark plug gap I didn't know if its recommended that different plugs have different gaps as they are rated differently? Does anyone have a pic of which are the idle jets on a set of webers as all the diagrams i can find on the web don't exactly show whic...

Re: Running issue help spark plug gap spec -NGKBR7EIX - 1969

Hi Mycar

Apologies, more information would have been helpful :)

I am running weber 40ida carbs

Thats the gap I have listed in the manual however expected the plugs to come correctly gapped. If this is the case I need to reduce the current gap a fair amount

thanks Bazz
