It doesn’t connect. It just sits there confusing us. Very useful for remote starts when you are looking to fiddle in the engine bay.

Not sure why yours is fried…

It connects to the starter motor on a 912. Not sure of its purpose in the 911 loom. With the ignition switched on it can be used to start the engine from the engine bay by touching it to live on the voltage regulator. Can’t remember which terminal off the top of my head.

I'm curious as to how you know what "low level groaning down a drain pipe!" Sounds like. I can't remember when I last experienced that......

Sorry, struggling to see the waste here....

Out of curiosity, does the v5c state whether the car is rhd or LHD? Don't think I've ever looked for it. Other body/chassis mods and engine/gearbox numbers will be the sticking point. I wonder how the V5c reads at present
