Anyone tried cleaning their headlining? Bit worried it might end up a bigger mess than it is. Depends on the material - Fabric material, due to its awkwardness a carpet cleaner/vac with a very mild detergent (Fabric again) not a traditional carpet cleaner. Slightly biased but on my old Golf TDi I used our brand (Swissvax) Fabric with a mix of sparkling mineral water which aids the lifting of dirt from the fabric when agitated with a small brush or cotton towel.
