Well I thought I was doing well. starting to see the end in near sight. I cant wait to see what you do with this car Andy.
It's the same as Hazels car was originally, a burgundy 2.2 71 T, but hers has a long way to go to catch up to yours. :lol:
Might be interesting to see how far apart the vin numbers are.

Winston , yes, exactly that. It stops the plain Cork gaskets deforming and slipping out of place.

Thanks Hugo, Gary, Sladey and Roy. Hugo I like to glue the rocker gaskets in so when you pull the covers for maintenance, both the gasket and cover come away as one making it easier to avoid an oily mess.... or less of an oily mess :lol: Roy, I have learnt so much from reading other peoples posts, s...
