I dragged out the fan shroud wich i had no intention of working on, but it looked a bit rusty in spots . So a quick sand and touch up of paint. I...

That old throttle rod /bar looks like it could have come off my old car,
Nice work on the rest of it and good luck on your ECU.

Re: Under cover Resto
Well I thought I was doing well. starting to see the end in near sight. I put the inlet manifolds on, matching up the gaskets and a bit of fine tuning https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53608996235_3656e5f9be_c.jpg 20240319_163404 by karlhash , on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53608540...

Re: 1971 Burgundy 911T
I cant wait to see what you do with this car Andy.
It's the same as Hazels car was originally, a burgundy 2.2 71 T, but hers has a long way to go to catch up to yours.
Might be interesting to see how far apart the vin numbers are.

Winston , yes, exactly that. It stops the plain Cork gaskets deforming and slipping out of place.

Re: Under cover Resto
Thanks Hugo, Gary, Sladey and Roy. Hugo I like to glue the rocker gaskets in so when you pull the covers for maintenance, both the gasket and cover come away as one making it easier to avoid an oily mess.... or less of an oily mess  Roy, I have learnt so much from reading other peoples posts, s...

Re: Under cover Resto
First post for the year. Its been a while so, a little update is due. What I have been doing has taken its time and I kept doing it in little bits over Christmas. I have been addressing the heads and the need to cut the cone shape a bit deeper into them because they have been fly cut before. This is...
