I have a Passat Alltrack 177 bhp thats affected - waiting for the update to be applied. Rest assured if it affects performance or economy to its detriment then I will do something about it. I bought the car for those reasons and I expect it to do what I bought it for.

Its my understanding that they did it to sell diesel cars in the US.Nige wrote:If that's the case you have to ask the question why VW did what they did?911hillclimber wrote:
The end result is my car works like it did but presumably cleaner now.

Recommend OPC for the trims if you're buying new, superior fit. I have a used set of chrome trim in fair order if you want used.

Re: 911 Windscreen replacement
Had mine re-installed a good few years ago by an old chap from National. Did it all by himself in a very quick time, brilliant. He was no stranger to the cord method. I am looking to replace that screen now as it is very pock-marked by motorway grit. A clear screen is about £540 and a screen with a...

Re: 911 Windscreen replacement
I didn't choose them as they are my insurers choice, but I must've got lucky. Without wanting to appear biased, the staff within National Windscreens are generally more sympathetic to the 'classics' as we have arrangements with the classic insurers (Equity Red Star spring to mind) and as such are d...

Not good. Where should I go to preferably in west London to get it replaced? Tuthill's did the l...
