Re: The Great Big DDK Meet of 2024!!!

Me plus son are hoping to make the whole event but not 100% sure at the moment as son has some exams in August. I have gone ahead and bought tickets for Megaphonics and will probably book hotel if you can cancel for free. Cheers, Ralph. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52802313861_fa29bf5e8e_c.jpg

Re: Retro Rides Weekender 2024 (Goodwood)

Only a few weeks away now and we need to give an idea on numbers and the space required so please can you post up here if you are attending on Sunday 12th?

This has got to be one of the cheapest events at Glorious Goodwood......

Thanks.

Friend/contact in USA

Any members in the USA or alternatively does anyone have a friend or contact in the USA that could help with the forwarding of a small part?

The seller on TheSamba.com is only prepared to ship to USA unfortunately.

Cheers, Ralph.

Re: Brake calliper rebuilds or new

Evidently the website isn't theirs - it was made by someone who wanted to sell it to them. That's why it looks a bit odd and has no contact details.

Thanks James - will do.

They weren't actually for a Porsche they were for my sons VW fastback - they actually have a pair on the shelf ready to go too.

Re: Brake calliper rebuilds or new

Just looking at the Classiccar Automotive website and can't see any contact details as you say?

Any other good rebuilders out there?

Ralph.

When I saw that first listed for sale I thought what a nice car at that price with a good bit of potential too.

Well done.

Classics at the Clubhouse 2024

I have been to this for the last couple of years and really like the mix of VW's and Porsche (& a Corvair).
