Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......

Brian's a good friend of mine, if I remember correctly his car had about 45 miles on the clock and he sold it as he told me ( in typical Brian understated fashion ) "to that American comedian bloke". ( Jerry Sienfield )

Re: 944 Turbo

Thanks very much for your kind comments, it certainly makes life interesting when you think you've known someone for twenty five years and it turns out not to be the case ! Anyway I'm sure I've got some more "interesting" times ahead over the next six months but I'm not very good at gettin...

Re: 944 Turbo

Have you picked up the 944? How is it? Sent from my M2004J19C using Tapatalk It’s been 18 months. £5 says he’ll have long since sold it on by now… I think you know me too well ! - you should have been more confident and bet five grand ! - I sold the 944 last year, enjoyed it for the few months I ow...

Re: Johnney and Gordon Murry's car collection.

What a great video, thanks very much for posting. He's always been one of my heroes , I went to a Motorsport magazine "Evening with Gordon Murray " in London a few years ago, what a great laid back guy. I'm really into small fun cars, that feel like you're doing 90 when you're only doing 5...

Re: Car import company recommendations

Kingstown are just down the road from me - I've used them loads of times and they're excellent - Mark and Alan usually nip by for a coffee and a glance at the car they've imported for me.

Great people to deal with

Re: New Car Woes - 1...Update

Sorry to hear that you've encountered this issue Jason, I hope you're well aside from these hassles. Out of interest as I've absolutely no idea, how much would it cost to fix this correctly ? presumably a significant amount , assuming nothing else is found . If you need something interesting to driv...

Re: RSR rep' on Rindt thread

Great, thanks very much

A friend of mine bought the green 997 "hot rod" ( shown on the thread) last week, he was very impressed with them.

RSR rep' on Rindt thread

Does anyone have any details on the RSR rep' on the Bootsy Rindt thread below ? thread mentions that it's "a well known car "

I've had a look at their website and Instagram but can't see it

Thanks

Re: The house where Jenks grew up

Back to last Sunday: When I finally saw the cover off the 356, I simply had to go knock at the front door. Just to say “I’ve been waiting for decades to see the car without the cover!”. (So, yes, of course you are way ahead of me by now...) When I open the gate and walk up the path to ring the bell...

Re: Karmann Ghia

I seemed to get up to seventeen cars and didn't really drive it - I think 30 miles in total ! ( I'm really into my Alfas at the moment.) It's an absolutely wonderful car but almost too perfect to use, incredible engineering and quality of finish. If it doesn't sell I won't be too upset, I'll just si...
