I was involved with getting Ford RS200's together last year and we used the Silverstone Classic as a base. Worked pretty well, we had 28 of them there. The event worked pretty well, lots of other things to see and some racing going on. Was a bit pricey is my only downside.

Well, pulled the heads off today. As expected, had no.2 and 3 cylinders showing signs of blowing at the head joints, along with the possibility of no 5 moving a bit. The head nuts on no.5 were noticeably slacker than the rest. No sign of the head moving against the cam carrier. I suspect there may b...

Took the engine out, got a cylinder head issue going on. Will whip it apart on Saturday for full diagnosis!

I am in process of cutting some off, rhs done, think the offcuts are still around, lhs to be done shortly.

Front end looks like a Smart something or other. Dont like them either!

Taking a used engine as a starting point, to strip, clean (or discard if you know parts are being replaced) measure, arrange and programme mange the specialist work by others, check and measure the returned work, dummy build of crankcase and crank to measure bearing clearances etc, clean again, then...
