It may not be worth it at all! By the time you put your time in the equation and primer, paint etc, it may just be cheaper to buy new.

Vintage speedsters do them in the States, $175, with the cost of the pound against the dollar it might be worth a thought.
Been looking for one myself but UK prices are around £300.

Just thinking about next years winter project. At the moment I have 1600 fitted with kadrons, but been thinking lately about possible either upgrading to T1 1776 or fitting an almost standard T4 2 ltr. I know it's a long off, but I would need to hide the money away (from the other half!!!! :roll: ) ...
